Terms of service

These terms apply to Ranklate, a Shopify app operated by Lansco Agency (“we”). By installing the app on a Shopify store you accept them on behalf of the store’s owner (“you”). Shopify’s own terms apply alongside them.
The service
Ranklate reads your store’s content, uses AI models to write SEO content and translations for it, and publishes what you approve back to Shopify. Features, limits and the models used may change as the app improves.
Plans, credits and billing
- AI work needs an active paid plan, chosen and billed through Shopify. Prices are shown on Shopify’s plan page before you approve them.
- Each plan grants a number of credits every 30 days. Credits expire at the end of their period, have no cash value, and are not refunded on their own.
- Each run shows its credit estimate before it starts, and the estimate is what it costs. Credits are returned when the AI request itself fails.
- On plans with usage billing, work beyond your credits is charged at the plan’s rate, up to the monthly spending limit you set. A run that needs more asks you first, and never goes beyond the maximum set for your store. The limit starts at $0, which means no usage charges.
- Refunds and plan changes follow Shopify’s billing rules.
AI-written content
AI models can make mistakes. Review what the app writes before you publish it: you are responsible for the content on your store, including product claims and translations. We do not promise any search ranking or traffic result.
Your content
You keep all rights to your store’s content and to what the app writes for you. You let us process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to produce unlawful, misleading or infringing content, to get around its credit or spending limits, or to put an unreasonable load on it. We may suspend a store that does, after telling you why when we can.
Availability
We work to keep the app available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is”, without guarantees of uninterrupted operation. It depends on Shopify and on the AI providers, which can be unavailable.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or rankings, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending
You can uninstall the app at any time; Shopify stops the subscription. Your store’s data is then deleted as the privacy policy describes. Content already published to your store stays there.
Changes
We may update these terms. For a change that matters, we will tell you in the app before it applies; using the app after that means you accept it.
